Recognizing the sovereignty of Native American and Alaskan Indian tribes. Robinson Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians of California serves as the lead Tribe for the California Tribal TANF Partnership (CTTP) from their ancestral home on the shores of Clear Lake, County of Lake. The CTTP program started through the collaborative efforts of tribes and Indian organizations with a common goal. CTTP presently is partnered with 22 member tribes and non-profit Indian organizations.
Phase I
Identifying and serving federally recognized Native Americans, Judgment Roll Indians and their descendants residing in Sutter, Yuba, Napa & Solano Counties. In addition to Lassen County, Susanville Rancheria and all non-Rancheria / Reservation Indians; Glenn County including Grindstone Rancheria and all non-Rancheria / Reservation Indians; Plumas County including Greenville Rancheria and all non-Rancheria / Reservation Indians.
Phase II
Lake County including Robinson Rancheria, Scotts Valley, Habematolel Upper Lake, Elem and Middletown Rancheria and non-Rancheria / Reservation Indians, Colusa County including Cortina Rancheria and Butte County; Mooretown, Tyme Maidu Berrycreek and Mechoodpa Indian Tribe of Chico Rancherias and non-Rancheria / Reservation Indians; Trinity County including Modoc, Fort Bidwell, Amador Counties and Ione Band of Miwok Rancherias / Reservation Indians; Del Norte County including Resighini Rancheria excluding Smith River Rancheria boundaries and their Tribal members residing in Del Norte County; Resighini Rancherias and Humboldt County including Big Lagoon Rancheria excluding Hoopa Tribal members.
CTTP worked to get Tribal Resolutions in the following counties and as the resolutions were received, they were forwarded to the Administration for Children and Families (A.C.F.) in the following counties: Sonoma, Mendocino, Siskiyou, Shasta, Plumas and Yolo counties including San Joaquin County in collaboration with the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California.
Phase III
As of October 2006 CTTP expands into Phase III, providing services to all eligible Indian families and descendants in the following counties:
Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin (all eligible Indians families and descendants residing in the county), Yolo Counties excluding Shingle Springs Tribal members. Mendocino Tribal members of the Cahto Laytonville Rancheria excluding all Indians residing within the boundaries of Redwood Valley Rancheria, Pinoleville, Hopland, Sherwood Valley including Round Valley Rancherias and their Tribal members.
Other exclusions include Tribal members residing on the Manchester Point-Arena, Guidiville, Coyote Valley and Potter Valley Rancherias.
Servicing eligible Tribal members Sonoma County excluding Dry Creek Rancheria, Lytton and Stewart Points.
All eligible Indian families and descendants in Shasta County excluding Redding Rancheria, Big Bend, Montgomery Creek, Pit River Tribe of California and the Pit River / Ajumavi Atsugewi Nation and their Tribal members in the county. Servicing Siskiyou County excluding Karuk Tribe of California and their Tribal members including Quartz Valley.
All eligible Indian families and descendants in Calaveras, Tehama Counties excluding Tribal members residing on the Paskenta Rancheria.
